Polaris was founded in 1970 in Windsor Ontario Canada by George Hellow.  Who began his career in the music industry during Motown’s blossoming  era.  He was a drummer for various artists and venues.  One of  which was with Kenny Rogers in his beginning with the  New Christy Minsterals as the drummer of the group.  He also did gigs for other artists in many other venues.  He soon discovered the art of recording.  Well versed in the use of studio and live open air venues, George, over the years, has done many live recordings all over the US and Canada.   He is a fully trained sound engineer and producer.  Now his son,  Joe Collins, who also has a great deal of experience in the industry has come into the fold, offering fresh new ideas with an ear for today's sound.
